1. Little Shop of Crafts

A place offering pottery, mosaics and woodcrafting? It’s truly a crafter’s dream. With Little Shop’s different party options, you can choose what kinds of crafts your child and their guests will get to make. Walk away with a brand new sculpture or maybe a pristine vase, there are plenty of awesome possibilities. Creativity is key.

“I came here for my daughter's BFF 5th B-day party. It was tons of fun! The kids did arts and crafts, partied like rock stars and sang their hearts out. The staff really knows how to entertain the kids and they look like they enjoyed every minute of it. My daughter particularly loved her face painting.”

2. The Children’s Museum of Manhattan

The Children’s Museum of Manhattan is a pillar in the Upper West Side, offering a great escape for children since its founding in 1973. As a big kid birthday venue, each of their party packages offers food, a personalized cake, and all sorts of awesome activities, like magic shows, water play and bubble bashes. When you host your party at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan, the proceeds from the event will benefit the work that they do for schools, libraries, and homeless shelters around the city.

“What a great place to take the kids. Staff was friendly, activities were fun, and the facility is great for playtime with learning opportunities. There is a dance area, an incredible outside water table to learn about water, a play room dedicated to learning about the body. They even had picture time with the dragon from Dragons Love Tacos.”

3. Broadway Dance Center

Throw the greatest dance party ever at Broadway Dance Center! Each party is an hour and a half long and offers games, a lead instructor with assistants, as well as set-up and clean-up staff, leaving you stress free and ready to groove. There are plenty of themes to choose from, ranging between a jazz/ballet Fairytale Adventure, to a hip-hop inspired Uptown Funk party. If your child loves to move, BDC is the venue for you.

Best place in town to not only have your kids in dance class, but also to have a fun birthday party! My niece Cora had a princess party for her 3rd birthday and Chelsea Nelson went all out!

The decorations were awesome! The cake and cupcakes were delicious! She even dressed up as a princess in a full blown pageant gown! The little girls and my son had a blast on the dance floor! They were pooped out from all the fun!

Two thumbs up! 5 stars! Big hugs and kisses! What a fun day!””
